Beza, works as an accountant in an Addis bank while supporting her brother and sister in Gonder. As her romance with the quietly charming businessman Abel (Girum Ermias) blossoms, her past comes back to haunt her in the form of Belay (Elias Wosenyeleh), a man she had rejected for an arranged marriage when she was a young girl in Gonder. Having escaped from prison where he was serving time for attempted rape, the obsessive and alcoholic Belay begins to set an elaborate trap with which he plans to destroy Beza and Abel’s love, Abel’s business and, if necessary, their lives.
